I bought these Aslo to replace my last pare that lasted over 6 years! Through mud, rain, snow, ice, mucking my horses pasture. As always Also has the roomy toe box and they never hurt my feet. Out of the box with little to no break time. I have worn Aslo's for over 15 years and have never been disappointed.

This is a sturdy, well made boot. Apparently it runs really large. I should have ordered at least 1 size below what I normally wear. I'll try to exchange because it really is a good boot with a sturdy shank

I have had them for about 2 weeks now, they are heavier than normal sneakers (but I like that about them). They are definitely waterproof, they fit to size, they are great for heavy activities and if you are not afraid to get dirty, I do heavy work sometimes, and this seems to provide some protection from falling objects on my toes. I also appreciate the ankle support. The laces are not too tight on my skin ( I get swollen food due to diabetes). sturdy and good. Only problem, takes sometime to get used to the weight, but worth it, it is heavy to protect you.

I wanted high ankle support and these boots work well. They tended to rub on my ankles at first so I needed to break them in.

Even though I don't think they need breaking in, I did wear them around the house for a day or 2. Very light, good traction...loved them!

Asked on 5/19/2010 12:00:00 AM by hikerooski from Wyoming
    • Answer These have good arch support, as most Asolos do. They have an anatomical footbed to give that extra support, and you can always add your own insoles to meet your personal foot's needs.
