Asolo Switch Trail Running Shoes (For Women)

I am a fan of the Asolo brand. I have one pair of their hiking boots and have another style ordered and on their way. That being said, I had to send these shoes back because they have no pronation control. For me, as a slightly flat-footed individual, I find other Asolo styles work better. These shoes, because of their structure, appear to be good for a person with a high arch, no pronation, as the strike pads on the outside edge of the heal would be great for that person. Unfortunately, for me, the shoe actually caused over pronation and back they went.

Nice looking shoes, seem like they're well made. The sides come up too high on my ankle bones and rub. I have had this problem before, so it may be my feet more than the shoes. Also, I ordered a 9, which I always wear, and it was definitely too big with average thickness socks.

These seem to be well made, but not what I was looking for. Not enough support or cushion. I had to return them.

Like I said it started out great. I bought them for dogs walks and to see the sights in DC. I put 20,000 steps a day on them in DC and they felt great. The SQUEAK was really embarrassing in the quieter areas of the Smithsonian. I am rather disappointed.

Asolos have always been a great product for me. This is my 6th pair of Asolos and so far I am happy with them. They fit my feet well and last longer than many other brands.

I have super bad feet and am always cautious about trying new shoes in brands that I have never worn. Well, my fears were not grounded. I put on theses shoes and off I went on an hour run. These shoes are comfortable and supportive and my feet felt great! Definitely will purchase this brand again. They are true to size and the inner sole comes out to accommodate my orthodics.

Good All Purpose

Use for trail running. Only fault for me is the footbed... not really built for a higher arch. Can buy and insert to remedy this. Otherwise, great shoe.

This is one of the most comfortable pair of trail/running shoes I have ever owned. They fit right from the start and did not require a break in period like most other shoes. They work well on trails, pavement and have good traction on steep trails and rock. I use them to walk/hike, rather than to run, so I can not comment on their comfort or performance while running. I cannot think of anything that I don't like about this shoe. I should have bought two pairs!

I have found this trail running shoe to be light and fast, but perhaps more forefoot padding might be needed on particularly rocky trails. Felt true to size and very comfortable.
