I have done another 3 miles today. .5 miles in ankle deep water. These boots preformed spectacularly! Great grip. Great waterproof abilities!! Comfortable, waterproof, light boots!!! I am sold on Asolo boots. These boots are 3 weeks old and i look forward to the next several years in them. I sample water for the coal mines. i work outside all year, all conditions, and all terrains. Previously i have gone threw Bates (shredded soles, cracked leather less than 100 miles), and Vasque (no longer waterproof, insoles broken, hundreds of miles on them). I have a new pair of Columbia winter boots, 400 grams Omi Heat (great waterproof comfortable boots/ they will burn your feet over 50.f)

I've put 3 to 4 miles on them so far. Fit and finish is Great! They seem narrow but fit true to size. I am very happy with STP and the speed of the order processing and shipping. I have not tried the waterproof aspect of the boots but I am sure I will find out soon enough .

Purchased these boots in July '11 and have beaten the hell out of them ever since. Melted a portion of the sole walking across a volcano in Iceland, Asolo re-soled em' no questions asked. These boots have carried me thousands of kilometers over the past 2 years in all sorts of weather (Eastern Canada). Would highly recommend, especially if you have a narrow foot. .

  • Question “What is the differences between Asolo Synchro and Fugitive?”
Asked on 4/1/2011 12:00:00 AM by Cal from Los Angeles, CA
    • Answer The Synchro has a moderately aggressive, dual-density outsole that incorporates Aso-brake for maximum downhill traction and offers superior grip on uneven terrain. The last board is also slightly different. They are both comfortable and supportive boots that will perform well in various situations and keep your feet dry.
