Excellent boots, good anckle support, nice grip but in wet rock can be very slippery at the beginning, to fit ok you will need to hike for at least 20K.

They feel very supportive. I bought them to use when I go on a 5-day hike in Torres del Paine National Parque in Chile.

these are an amazing boot, definitely need to be broken in. can't go wrong. one suggestion is to go to a local dealer and try on a pair first to get the right size thats what my friend told me to do, and it worked perfectly. happy hiking.

This boot was a great short notice choice for the Adirondacks! Four days of packing 40+ lbs of gear through mud, water and over roots and rocks. Kept my feet dry and warm and provided the proper boot so necessary in the Daks!

I bought these boots to replace some North Face ones that I had that treated me very well. These boots are sturdy and well constructed. They are much heavier and stiffer than my previous boots and definitely have a break-in period. I have worn them in a steady rain without any issues but have yet to take them out on a trail. The lacing system is fine but they could use one extra set of hooks at the elbow of the shoe face. They are sharp looking. Overall, these are great for the price paid at Sierra ([$]), but I wouldn't think they were great at over $100.

These boots won my heart from the first moment I put them on. They are lightweight, waterproof and feel very durable. No break in period. I have long and narrow feet - Asolo boots just fit great for me.
