    The boot is definitely addressing the need of more advanced hikers that need a rigid boot to climb some steep terrain. Not indicated for light day hikes. It is warm and dry. Price/Value is exceptional.

    Great for hiking, needed a couple of days to soften up. No blistering on day hikes. Extremely comfortable I could wear them all day! I read a lot of reviews and this is the boot that caught my attention. It was a reasonable price and I can tell I will be wearing them for a long time.

    This is my third pair of Asolo boots. I use them year round while working in the middle east. It is mountainous terrain that requires more than the average boot. Although I love my Asolo boots, I replace the inserts with more cushioned inserts that have more arch support. The last thing I want to worry about when I'm in the middle east are my boots, so these boots are right for the job!
