“These shoes are comfortable but sturdy just a little stiff out of the box. They will need some break-in time. I think I will have many good hiking days in these shoes. I like that they are a little more sturdy than the really lightweight hikers. They will not wear out as quickly and will give a little better protection on those jagged PA rocks. They do run big. I usually take a size 8 and I ordered a 7 1/2. They are still a little big.”
