Asolo Transit Gore-Tex® XCR ® Hiking Shoes - Waterproof (For Women)

I have owned Asolo hiking boots for the past 17 years and absolutely love them. They are very durable and will last quite a while if you take care of them (this will be only my third pair over all of those years). The only drawback to this specific model was that they run much larger than the previous models I have owned. I needed to order a full size smaller than usual to get a good fit.

1st pair went back too big...1/2 size smaller and they are much better..Shoes look great and feel good but quack when you walk...I think this will quit with more ware. I live in the mountains and wear these daily...Feet don't get tired in them...

New to Seattle & needed a shoe that could keep me dry but still go off road. Me like!!!

Good product for the money.

I wore these shoes hiking in Alaska on vacation. They were comfortable and durable for the rugged terrain of the rainforest and tundra. They cleaned up nicely after a particularly muddy hike. It was also comforting to see one of the guides we used that hike for fun as well as work had also purchased the same shoes. Additionally, I wore thick socks without any reduction in comfort or blisters with these shoes. I haven't been able to do that in years. I would definitely purchase these shoes again.

Great waterproof and lightweight hiker for those wet summer days where you would like a cool, comfortable shoe that still keeps your feet dry. As the listing indicates, they run a bit large... so you do need to order accordingly. The tongue also bunches a bit under the laces, but not enough in my estimation to cause discomfort -- it is merely an annoyance to me.

I really wanted to find a good quality, comfortable and lightweight hiker which was both cool and waterproof for those dewy, summer grasses which abound on the trails in Wisconsin. This fits the bill on every account!The only two drawbacks are the sizing and the bunching of the tongues under the laces. However, the tongue bunching was not of the magnitude to cause hot spots or discomfort... just an annoyance. The large sizing issue was duly noted by [...] in the listing, so I ordered accordingly.

I go hiking every week for a few miles and this pair does the job. Great traction and reasonable in weight. Too bad the selection of colors is limited.
