    Got these shoes for day hikes, where I am not carrying a heavy pack. Good traction, plenty of toe room. I used SuperFeet inserts to correct the arch support problem, worked fine. There's a little slip in the heel when going up hills-maybe a touch wide there.

    These are great shoes! I haven't purchased any Asolo product before and didn't know what to expect. The quality is good and they were comfortable the first time I wore them. They give good traction on wet, uneven, and hilly ground. They are a little narrower than other shoes I have, which I like.

    This shoe is perfect for trails where ankle support is not needed for day hikes. I have owned 2 pair. They last well, provide the stability and traction that I need. The sole is stiff but that works for me and provides good protection on rocky trails.

    These feel very stable and sturdy. They aren't as cushiony and comfortable as some other shoes I have walked in, since the footbed is a bit stiffer, but I think that contributes to the sturdiness. Reviews cautioned about the heel and toe fit; neither were a problem. The size 10's fit my nearly size 11 feet fine.

    I use these for bushwacking and trail hiking, they are waterproof, but if the grass/snow gets too tall and your socks get wet it leeches into the shoe anyway, but that also means they dry faster than waterproof boots too. These are great, light, unobtrusive trail/hiking shoes that keep the moisture out without overheating. Great traction, long lasting tread, same great Asolo fit.
