Asolo Typhoon Hiking Shoes (For Men)

The shoes are worn for day hikes in the southwest desert. They provide exceptional support, comfort, and stability in a wide range of terrains.

I had hoped it would have more padding to help with a prolonged battle with plantar fascitis.

Shoes arrived with two different insoles. That said these are very nice shoes. They do feel a bit wide, I've been useing thick socks and all is well.

I spemt 2 weeks hiking in Sedona. Very stable even on rocks; I turned ankle on rocks a couple times and had no ill effects on my ankle.

Good shoe. one shoe feels slightly narrower than the other, but overall good shoe.

I went through Europe for 2 weeks with these shoes, and put miles and miles of walking on them. These are high quality, comfortable shoes. 7 months later, they show almost NO signs of wear, and feel good as new, albeit a little loose. I do everything in these shoes. Most shoes show significant signs of wear at this time. I love how they are waterproof, it keeps feet dry when walking through wet brush. Because they are low cut water easily seeps in through the sides if you're trying to tip-toe through a river, but as far as everyday do-everything-in-one-shoe shoes, these have been perfect for me.

can feel rigid "bumps" via sole after 2-3 hrs wear

I will use them for hiking and every day use. I will use the hikers for pheasant hunting.
