Order 3 sizes of these to get the right one. Ended up with a 9, about a full size less then I generally get.

Fit: These Asolo shoes were a low-height addition to the higher Asolo hikers that I own. I reluctantly took the online advice and ordered a half size smaller since my Asolo hikers were a perfect fit out of the box. The advice was spot-on! Ordering the half-size down delivered a perfect fit. I immediately wore the new Asolos for the next two days with zero issues. Build Quality: These Chinese-made low-height shoes do not seem to be as well-built as my Romanian-made hikers. I'm not saying that the quality is bad with these, it's just that the Romanian hikers are stellar. Time will tell...

I agree with the sizing recommendations. Order a half size smaller than you normally would. I even own a pair of asolo sassalongs that are size 8.5, i ordered a size 8 in the typhoon and they fit just right. Like all asolos, they are a bit narrow, but loosening the laces fixed the problem.

Good shoe. Sierra's half size smaller recommendation is good. Great for day hikes.

I have Asolo boots and like them. I thought these would make good warm weather hikers. On anything off-camber or rocky, my foot "rolls" much more than athletic shoes. They fit correctly even snug, so that isn't the cause. Other than that they are comfortable and seem well made.
