“for the non-hiker, these are fine shoes. however, the gore-tex is not sealed at the laces, maning the show tops out at the eyelets and will not keep out rain. you can walk through shallow puddles, but other wise this shoe is not waterproof. breathes very nicely, has a snappy look, and the sole has lasted a long time despite its thinness. overall, not worth the money, though.”
