“These shoes are a little stiffer than most, but I found that to be an advantage walking on gravel roads. They are very stable, even on loose rock. I wore out one pair training for the Avon walk and bought two more to use while walking the marathon. The insert has NO support, so I did purchase other supports to use in these shoes. I own Asolo trail runners which have much better arch support.”
