    Pros:
    Comfortable, Great Traction, Lightweight
    Best Uses:
    Everyday, Paved Trails
    Describe Yourself:
    Recreational Walker/Hiker
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
These shoes are comfortable, but they do run a little wide. I do not find it a problem as it allows my toes to wiggle and does not bind them. The cushioning is not plush, when the description says "these shoes let you feel the earth under your feet," they mean it. They are lightweight and comfortable for working all day or walks with the family. I have not worn them hiking yet, so I cannot give feedback regarding their performance on trails. Overall, a good shoe worth the money I paid.

I have wide, flat feet, and I am required to be on my feet for long periods of time. These shoes offer comfort, stability and warmth during these harsh winters. I recommend these shoes to anyone, especially with feet structure similar to mine.

Wanted to try something different. My last 3 pairs of shoes have been from Merrell, and that's what I'll be going back to. As others have mentioned, they fit just a little big, and as a result, the front of the insole slides a bit at times. They also lack sufficient arch support, and I feel it. Not a terrible pair of shoes, but definitely not great.

Bought these for our teen age son. He is extremely hard on shoes and these have been a very durable shoe. Pleased with our purchase.

looks like a good shoe for level trails - but to me the heel seemed too narrow for stable footing on rough terrain -

I injured a knee shortly before they arrived so I have not worn them hiking yet. They are good looking They seem a bit larger than size and seem to fit my wide feet well. They are very shock absorbent

I need supportive but comforatble shoes to compensate for bi-lateral peripheral neuropathy in my feet and evolving hammer toe - these fit the bill perfectly and are way lighter than my heavy duty leather La Sportiva boots that I've worn to work for the last 5 years!! (luckily I work in a casual environment!!)
