I usually wear Merrells but had had some Asolos a long time ago so decided to try these. When I first put them on I thought they wouldn't work at all, because of inadequate arch support and pronation control. Also, they're narrower in the toe than what I'm used to. BUT, with pair of Spenco For Her Total Support insoles (substituted for the insoles they came with), I think they'll work fine. And they are really nice looking.

They are made of quality materials but they just aren't all that comfortable. After wearing for about an hour, I swap swap them out for my old comfy shoes. The best shoes are the ones that don't have to be broken in.

I'm having some foot problems so I got these to wear instead of sandals for the summer. They fit my well-worn feet very well, and look great. I have arch supports and orthotics inserted in them, and there's plenty of room.
