Asolo Xena Gore-Tex® Multi-Sport Shoes - Waterproof (For Women)

This is the second pair (different color) I've purchased. I really like the way they look. They are incredibly comfortable. (Note - my feet are wide.) They are lightweight, stable, supportive, and the tread prevents slipping. And waterproof. These are the shoes I put on when I know I'll be on my feet for a while.

2nd review_ I wore these outside yesterday for the first time. It had rained and I took a walk through wet grass - not through anything as challenging as a stream. I ordered these because they are labeled as water proof - with Goretex - which I needed. They are not. They ABSORB water more than shoes not labeled waterproof. My feet were soaked after a 20 minute walk. And they do o dry quickly. I believe that they are mislabeled, and will be returning them because they are not what was ordered. I don't think this is STP's fault - the manufacturer clearly messed up. They would be fine if you live in a dry area - comfortable, flexible, adjustable.

Just got them - i wanted to have a pair of waterproof walking shoes - since the last months in the North East have been as wet as Seattle. They are going to work well for that. Be advised - i didn't follow the advice of all those who said this was true to size and ordered up 1/2 size, which put me up more like a full size.Including the euro sizes on everything would be a help - these 10 1/2 s were 42 1/2's- a big jump from the usual 10/41s. The toe is more narrow - so maybe i did order the right size after all- and the heels - and rest of shoe - are fairly wide - typical eurostyle - but the lacing goes very high and should keep them from coming off of narrow heeled women. They seem quite warm; look kinda like cross country boots. Superior traction; quite close to the ground and flexible.

I am very happy with these choses. They are very comfy, very light and look good. I have not yet tested their waterproof quality but I am very happy with them.

This is the second time I have ordered these shoes. I ordered two pairs, one for my winter home and one to take up north. I love these shoes.

I love these shoes. I've never owned a pair of shoes made by Asolo but they are the most comfortable light hiking shoe I've had. They are well made. No break in time at all. Just put them on and away I went. The second time I wore them, it rained. The shoes didn't get wet nor did they allow water seepage into the shoe on your socks. I love them!!!!

These are fabulous!! Due to the give of goretex (bunion issue on 1 foot) I could order my regular size,; wonderful comfortable weekend walker!!! Absolutely love them! Good support and fit! love the color!

Have only had this shoe for about a week, but it was comfortable from the beginning. It's also proven that it's waterproof. The only "bad" thing is that I don't particularly like the look, but it's a good shoe.
