No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“Everything looks good at a glance. The latch works fine if the briefcase is empty. But, once you put a few folders inside and try to latch the cover the fun begins. Have you ever tried to push a wet noodle across the dinner plate? You'll look the fool in front of your clients for trying. The latch mechanism is attached to the front pockets which moves away from the flap when you are trying to close the briefcase. Additionally, there is way to much padding. The briefcase capacity yield is not much more than my five inch wide briefcase.”
