Aston Krek Car Coat - Shearling (For Men)

Excellent for cold weather (<32ºF)-keeps you toasty warm. @ STP prices it's below wholesale from maker in NY. As shearling goes, it's not a Gimo's but you can't go wrong here for the price-even full retail! Don't hesitate. Aston stands behind its product and will fix zippers/buttons "for life" (whatever that means). Sizing is accurate so don't kid yourself. If you're a 44 chest but have a big old butt or wide hips, the 44 isn't going to work; go a size up or reduce the load.

Despite people complaining about the lack of inside pockets, there are actually 2 inside the outer pockets. The zippers are concealed by the shearling pile and it took me a year to discover them.

The coat looks and fits as advertised. It has two hand pockets but could use a third pocket inside the coat where you could keep a wallet or cell phone.

Sleeves were not large enough for my arms and while I am in better than average shape, I am a long way from being a bodybuilder.

I usually take a size 40, but since I planned to wear it over sweaters and sport coats I ordered a 42 after reading the reviews. It fits perfectly, except I have to roll up the sleeves, but it looks good that way. It is well worth the money, but if you plan to wear it over anything,do as I did and order a size above your regular size.

Beautiful coat and very warm. The sleeves might be a tad on the short side, but so are mine. I bought a whiskey krek in my suit jacket size of 42 and the fit was very good.. No, you won't be able to wear a bulky sweater underneath but you won't need to. The fleece is very warm with a luxurious feel. A great deal. My only quibble is that at this price point it should come with horn buttons and not plastic.

I watched this coat for almost a year, and when I was able to get a good deal, I jumped on it. Excellent warmth and style... I bought a half size larger than I normally wear, and it seems just right... excellent jacket.

Very nice coat but I will be returning it because it is too tight in the arms and shoulders if any type of heavier shirt is worn under the coat. I purchased my exact size expecting the coat to be made for wear over clothing that is generally worn in the winter. An inside pocket would really be a nice addition to a coat of this type.

Works well for casual wear as well as coat and tie. Very warm (worked great in mid-upper 20's F). My first Aston product, so no history, but mine arrived w/ a defective pocket (not completely stiched?). I live in the UK, but the good folks at STP had a replacement back to me in no time.

I gave this coat to my husband for Christmas. He was pleasantly surprised. He wore it to a New Years Eve party. He looked great in it. He didn't have to wear any additional sweaters underneath and the temperature was 19 degrees. I love it!
