“Great Coat”

“I bought this coat in November 2008, so it has now been through 2 winter seasons with me and I just looked back and realized how happy I am with it! It is definitely of great quality. I've put it through some heave duty. It traveled with me in aiports, trains and buses and I haven't had any problems with it. The only thing that I had to do - re-saw the buttons after the first season because they were getting loose. It is also surprisingly lightweight for how warm it is. How warm is it? I've worn it in Canada, Russia, New York in pretty cold weather. Up to -10C (14F) is easy (with something more substantial than a T-shirt underneath:). Up to -15C (5F) is still OK if you are otherwise dressed warmly (sweater, scarf, hat, winter boots). For temperatures lower than that you probably need another coat, not the least because it is too short for lower tempatures (it just covers ones rear). I am a size 6, but after reading the previous reviews ordered size 8 and it fit perfectly. Sleeve lentth is just right.”
