Aston Patrol Shearling Hat (For Men)

i use this hat in the morning when I walk the dog and it is dark and cold. While it looks cheesy, it really does the trick. Lightweight and warm.

Ears and neck stay warm. The hat is not bulky (maybe why some reviews say it is "cheap", but trust me -- it is extremely warm for its weight). I was camping for 3 days and 2 nights in January at 8,000' in Wyoming, and this hat was my best friend anytime I was outside the tent. Expensive, but nice.

This is a good hat to wear with the Aston shearling coats I purchased from Sierra.

Keeps my bald head nice and toasty. It is not a big bulky thing, just a nice fitting hat. Use the reviews for help on fitting.

perfect for walking in weather that is almost too cold for walking. Covers the exposed part of the face w/o using a full mask

I ordered the black shearing hat for my husband and measured his head size and ordered according to his measurement, but the large was still not large enough. This applied to the other hat where I ordered according to the measured head size and the medium was too snug. If it had been a matter of size only I would have returned for a larger size, but there were no X-large anyway. Because of the poor quality, I returned both hats. Considering they were made in Turkey, I expected better quality. I spent some time in the Mid-East and brought back several shearling products which were much thicker, more durable and better made. I was very disappointed.

Great for clod weather use.

Great for cold-winter wear. Adaptable for windy cold (ear flaps extend around neck), so it can be worn in varied situations. Looks great with tight-loop shearling

The hat is warm and comfortable. I get a lot of comments on it. I'd give it five staras, but it is sized small. Luckily, I bought one size up and will keep the hat.
