“After reading many of the comments on this and other shearlings, it became apparent there are a lot of buyers who haven't taken the time to learn about shearling. If you're spending this much on a coat, it's probably a good idea to be informed about what you're buying. Once you understand the different 'types' of Spanish shearling (thinkness of hide, density of fur) you'll understand what a great deal this is (I bought at [$].) It's in the details; the coat has finished button holes, the stitching and panel construction is finished very nicely, there's a hood and hand pockets sewn on to the seems. Not all shearlings come with pockets because they look bulky. I'm petite, usually wear a regular 2-4 and I bought the dark brown in 6 - it fits beautifully. I would call it a "slim fit". Also keep in mind these will give a little with wear - it's a skin, and like leather, will stretch a little. This coat is really gorgeous and a good deal for the money.”
