    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought it for general / outdoor use, and hope to use for cold weather cycling. I was very much disappointed that the gloves are kind of stiff and feel like stiff canvas material, unlike smooth leather. I have couple of other pairs which have served me for 4-5 winters (deer skin with natural lining and sheep skin with shearling lining) somewhat dis-stressed looking, but usable for cold weather. Hope these will soften with use.

    The biggest disappointment was the lining--VERY biristly and uncomfortable. I think the wrong color was shipped--ordered the gold, the color is a deep reddish brown. If these gloves are really [$] retail, I can't imagine anyone buying them once they try them on. Appearance is ok, but nothing special. I will be returning them.

    These gloves are more for style than cold weather protection. Between the fingers and along the sides is only a thin stretchy lycra like fabric. It would not keep you warm. The only thing I would recommend these glove for would possibly be drive in a car or truck. They would not protect once you leave the cab.
