“I ordered this because the description says speanish merino shearling - well, that's wrong. This is some other shearling, most likely American shearling - VERY HEAVY coat. Even the tag does not say speanish merio shearling - and trust me, given spanish merino is ultra expensive, the coat tags ALWAYS identifies that if that's the case. Spanish shearling is usually ultrasoft and light (weighs like a heavy cashmere coat) - this was neither. The shearling was coarser rather than lux, and just really heavy - so the $1495 retail price listed is unrealistic - may be $500 to $600, given the quality. I ordered the coat in black and did not like the fur at collar and sleeves either - texture was weird. Runs roomy - i usually wear a size 8/10 in regular clothes and 6 fit me fine. Overall, not what i was expecting at all, and the description was inaccurate - so I returned it.”
