Atelier Luster Pants - Besom Pocket (For Women)

This is a really nice fabric--looks really high quality, although generally "luster" doesn't connote quality in pants. It has sort of lustrous fibers on the surface and a *very* subtle lighter/darker check pattern. I love that it is long enough to wear with a slight heel--I am 5'9 1/4" I do wish it had an angled waist band--it is okay in front-maybe a tad higher than I'd like, and tends to be a bit low in back. I do have a bit more butt than many, but other pants do fit a bit better in this regard. They did not wrinkle despite sitting through an hour long meeting. The matching jacket is especially awesome.

The fabric has a nice sparkle and subtle houndstooth print. The fabric is exquisite. I will, however, need to have these altered to fit the length (and I'm 5' 8").

High quality fabric and nice cut. Atelier brand runs large and so I ordered my usual size 8. (I am really a size 10 in pants.) But these are even larger than usual in the waist. They fit fairly well in the hips, though, and it looks like a waist alteration will not be too hard, so I'm keeping them.

Nice pants, but do run large and long. I buy one size down in Atelier anyway, but had to send these back to get TWO sizes down. I'm 5'6", 145, and ended up with a 6. The top is an inch or so below the waist. I do need to shorten them. And it is nice to have dress pants that I can wash.

The fabric finish of these pants had the plastic-like sheen of cheap car upholstery. It did not look good. It was sized very large, also; I ordered a 6 and it fit like a size 10.

Order down a size. I had them shorthened also.Beautiful pants. Very comfortable.

The Atelier suits that I favor haven't been available so I found these by doing a search for just the pants. It's great they have them separately! The material is drapy and medium-weight and doesn't look or feel like polyester. These are machine washable!
