The sheen in the fabric makes the cotton dressy enough without being too hot. The fabric offers use for various seasons. The style very attractive on me only I never close it like in the picture

They are lined so the only way to make this jacket workable would be tailoring that cost more than the jacket. If jacket sleeves run short on you, this jacket may work.

I ordered this jacket in a 10 and ordered matching pants and capris in size 8. The bottoms were perfect, but the jacket was too small. I exchanged it for a size 12, and it's great. The arms are long enough for me, and the shoulders (my biggest issue) are really close. The jacket is beautifully made and styled nicely. My only complaint is that the inset waist is perhaps a little high for me which is not my best style. But that's more a flaw of my body that the jacket, and I'll probably wear it open anyway.

Also, I'm going to have the sleeves tailored - they were really long. I have a hard time finding great suits for my shape and this looked nice with the matching skirt so it's worth it.
