Atelier Luxe Dress Pants - Modern Fit, Bootcut (For Women)

Best fitting pants that I have worn. I bought 1pair...loved them, so I bought the other 2 colors in my size.

As a petite, I often have to buy regular sized items and have them shortened. That I expect. I did hope these in a size 2 would fit. However, they are very large in the waist. The alterations (shorten and take off waistband, take in waist) will cost as much as the bargain price, but it's still ok, as the sale price was very good.

I was so happy to be able to find these pants. I originally bought them at[@]. They no longer had them in stock when I went to buy another pair so, I googled the brand and was directed to your company. I ordered two of them because I use black pants for work all the time. Quality construction. Wish they would have fit.

Based on reviews, I ordered 2 different sizes--my normal size and one size smaller. The smaller size is the one that fit me best. (I returned the other.) I have a tough time finding pants that fit because I have an athletic build, a short rise, and long legs. The length on these is perfect(!) for me: 34-inch inseam on the size 4. I still need to take in the waist a bit on each side because they don't have beltloops, but they are constructed in such a way that it won't be difficult. (If you need to hem these, use the extra fabric to make belt loops if you like.) The welt pockets on the back are pretty shallow--a medium-sized cell phone will fit. Front pocket fits a tube of lip balm--pretty small. Overall, I love these pants. Super comfortable, great looking, dressy with a bit of sheen to the fabric, machine washable. I'm going to keep my eyes open for more styles and colors in this brand. (I rated these a 5 because for me they ARE perfect. But they really do run a size large and the inseam is long.)
