    The material is pretty thick, and the odd gathering on the sides didn't really help slim the profile. I found it a touch too relaxed and casual for what I wanted, which was an all-purpose suit. I didn't particularly like the big, square buttons, either. I might have kept it if I had been shopping for a mid-weight outerwear jacket.

    This is very flattering due to the detail on the waist. I was worried that the lapels of the suit would be too much, but they were not. I am a 36D so sometimes find jackets too tight at the bust - and I am a true 10 and this fits perfect. I have to have the pants hemmed. I am 5'5" so this happens a lot.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The styling is unique, which is what appealed to me when I ordered the suit. However, the collar was abit overboard. You need to look good in a large, almost ruffled-like collar. I prefer a little more tailored look. It was otherwise a great suit for the price. The slacks are not lined but were a flattering style and fit. It was the unusual collar that prompted me to return the suit.

    Both pants and jacket were too long at Size 6. I'm 5'41/2". They are at the tailors still, but I expect to wear the suit for my PhD defense and am going to feel great in it. It is different enough to get noticed, but not too trendy to go out of style anytime soon. It is heavy as one reviewer wrote, but the charcoal pants provide flexibility for business travel to be paired with jacket or sweater.
