Order a size smaller. Sometimes higher priced products run larger than the usual.

I discovered this brand in a store recently and found that I could go down one size from the smallest size pants that I wear and of course that was a big selling point! I normally would wear an 8 or 10. The waist is a little below the waistline. I am 5'10 and 150 pounds. I need the length in the legs but not in the body. The length is perfect for me; running on these at 33" and others of this brand at 34" which is good for boots. The body is not longer. The back fits nicely without being too tight or having excess material. The material itself seems to me to be warmer for the weather we have now and upcoming in Indiana. I notice a little "growing" in the material as you wear them but nothing distracting; no pooched out knees or dragging bottoms. I think it just makes the material smooth and comfortable. No wrinkles after all day. Haven't washed them yet. Expensive pants when you pay full price so I expect them to wear and wash well. The price here is very good which is why I bought them.
