First off, I didn't use these in my back yard or around the house, like other people post about equipment they buy. I waited till I actually used them where they should be used, before I wrote a review. 1st trip was in Mt. Hood National Forest and they worked perfectly. 2nd Trip was up by Mt. Adams and again perfect. Light weight and easy to walk in deep powder or trails. No complaints, stayed on my boots. I had other shoes with ratchet bindings, Lame don't buy those. these are great would recomend to anyone.
