Auclair Boomer Ski Mittens - Waterproof, Thinsulate® (For Men)

The thing I like about these mittens could be a negative for some people. They have a fleese inner mitten that pulls right out when you take them off. I like that, because it makes them useful as wet weather over-mitts for thin gloves. I've wanted a pair of those for backpackng for some time. I'm also impressed with the way these thigs are put together. They seem to be a lot tougher than you would normally need them to be.

Great for cross country skiing and outdoor sports

I'm a woman, but these cost less and looked better performing (more value) than mittens for women.

Very warm,keeps hands dry, removable insulated mitten can be washed, inside mitten moves around too easily

Returned because they were thinner overall than expected. They didn't seem to make my hands as warm as I would have like compared to other mittens. Not bad but they were not what I was looking for.

Bought these as a gift and they loved them.

These look to be very good quality mitts. I did not have a chance to field test so I cannot comment on actual performance or longevity. They were too small for me esp. in the thumbs- too tight. I have big hands and ordered the biggest size (xl) so I am out of luck. Order large and they should be very good. My wife usually wears medium or large gloves and felt that the xl's were right for her although she felt that they were bulky and did not bend/form to her palm as she would like. They are definitely bulky - good for cold weather use.

Very warm, maybe too warm even with the liners out.

overall a great mitten...super and warm and seem durable. Maybe a tad narrow across my palms.
