“I'm ROTC and we work out rain or shine in the winter. I bought these gloves after searching on some other site and Google.
Cons: good for Seattle winters but Seattle winters are not severe like Montana or Chicago. If you really need to be warm buy some puffy snowball gloves. However, we are required to wear black leather gloves and these are almost perfect. Another con: Cheap leather and made the same way Dockers leathers gloves are, where the seams are visible and stitching is outward as opposed to tucked inside of the glove. Also, these can't withstand constant rain (not waterproof out of the package).
Pros: Good value black leather gloves, fits like it should, and very warm if you keep moving (unless soaked) which takes a while, especially with a layer of spray on water-proofer.
A little bit about the size. I never thought about size of gloves before I wanted to buy these online. If you have "average" sized hands buy the medium. If you are really worried buy the next size up. I'm 5'6" 135lbs, average build and hands.
I'm NOT getting anything out of writing this review. I figured anything to help out people in my situation stay warm and do what we need to do.”
