Reviewed by Fly fisherman from Arkansas on Wednesday, April 03, 2013Haven't had them in the cold yet, but happy with quality and construction. Hard to beat Sierra prices. They do have a strap to secure them to your arm. I usually wear medium and this medium seems appropriate. Will use for skiing.

Reviewed by John from Provo, UT on Tuesday, January 29, 2013I got these because I figured they would be warm and I needed something waterproof. They also were on a sharp discount. I needed them for a winter trip to Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park. It was 0 at night and these did the trick, in fact they even warmed my hands up within just a few minutes after having them outside the mittens for a few minutes to have better dexterity setting up camp or taking a photo. I was pleased to have something so warm. I didn't think they were super soft on the inside unfortunately, so comfort-wise they maybe aren't the very best, but my hands were warm at the time and that's all I noticed.

Wrist cuffs seal out the cold and snow. Easy to put on an off. So far impressed and waiting for snow to see how they hold up.
