Auclair Sheepskin Mittens (For Women)

Cute little mittens...perfect for small or thin hands. Thin and fairly lightweight for leather...no bulk, which is nice for mittens, but then again, they're not super-warm.

My hands are always cold. I have purchased many gloves and expensive gloves to still have cold hands. These keep my hands warm. I'll waterproof them and be perfectly happy with hiking/walking outdoors in the winter. I did purchase a medium in these and I am usually a small. Fits perfectly.

i haven't been able to find a warm wool mitten in siza small for years so tried these. they are warm and do what i need them to, e.g., protect my hands while i walk, birdwatch, and shovel snow in the winter. i've only had them for a week so don't know if they're durable.

I had high hopes for these mittens, since I have a shearling coat that is incredibly warm. Unfortunately, these mittens were thin, cheap, flimsy and the shearling lining was sparse. I bought a womens large and they fit mor like a kids size. While they were not expensive, for the money I could find a much warmer pair of mittens.

I was hesitant to order these after I read the other reviews, but I'm glad I did! They do run small; I normally wear a size 6.5 glove, but the large are perfect on me. The lining is thinner than most sheep-lined things, but I went walking in these today and my hands were not cold. The thinness of them allows more function with them on. I have several pairs of synthetic ski gloves that are supposed to keep my hands warm but don't, so I'm excited that these actually are warm. I have the Black and I don't think they look cheap at all.

Following customer recommendations, I ordered a Large but found them too small for my average size hands. I normally wear a Medium. I was disappointed in the material and workmanship. I expected them to be more luxurious/plush and neatly finished. If you have small hands and want a real casual look, these might be right for you.

I plan on putting a liner in the mittens to make them more comfortable. The cuffs are short so they are not really good for very cold weather. The note to order one size larger was right on the mark.

These mittens looked nicer in the illustration. They are not well made and the lining is thin.
