I really love these mittens! They are wonderfully warm on a sub-zero day, don't even need any additional liner like my sheepskin mittens do. I highly recommend them for long walks and active winter sports.

Haven't the chance to use yet, but seems like they'll fit the bill.

Living in the North Cascade mountains, we get a lot of COLD weather. Good gear is really important. Until I bought these mittens, my hands were always cold and numb. I have had a number of different gloves (some much more expensive) without much luck. I read the reviews for these mittens and decided to take a chance. I am so glad that I did! I went skiing in 4 degree weather and my hands stayed warm! These mittens are not only warm, but they are comfy, cheap and not overly bulky. The only cons: They look as though they would not hold up to extreme vigorous use and my thumbs did get cold because there is not down surrounding the thumb.

I get very cold fingers when skiing, so will have to use hand warmers with this mitten as well as any other mitten.

I use these snow shoeing / wilderness hikeing / trail running I find that keeping your fingers together rather than separate like traditional gloves is warmer. Wear a wool glove liner for realy extream weather and your realy good to go.

I live in Northern Canada and use these as my main mittens - when walking around town, skating, driving, skiing etc. They are very warm. If I had to complain abut them I'd have to say that the elasticated part around wrist is a tad tight, but nothing that would stop me from wearing them. I am VERY pleased with these

I absolutely love these mittens! They are lightweight, warm and the lining inside is very soft. Based on other reviews, I ordered a large and they fit perfectly. I have average-sized hands. For someone with forever-cold hands in the winter, these mitts are the best!

Really nice gloves that are truly waterproof--unusual for the price. Can't give 5 stars until I know how they long they will last.
