Auclair Fleece Fishing Gloves with Flip-Top Glomitts (For Men and Women)

I like how the mitten part can be fastened back, to allow use of fingers when necessary

I got these because I am training my dog with treats; these are GREAT for that, can flip the mit to get the treats, poop bag, work with leash/clips etc, but cover fingers in cool weather. Would not be great below freezing but work well in all other conditions. Medium fit me fine (medium woman, size 6-8) and large fit my husband (medium man).

Maybe I should have taken a clue from the (Men/Women) designation. I ordered a large and could not come close to getting my hand in. Gave them to a female friend with basically normally girly hands they were a very snug fit. Too bad they are a nice glove if you can get your hands in.

I was looking for a pair of gloves to wear while I'm training my dog out in the cold weather. These gloves allowed me to feed my dog treats when she does something right. I like that there's velcro on the back that keeps the top of the glove from flapping around. The exposed thumb doesn't bother me. If it's really cold, I just stick it under the hood of the mitt. It's also a good fit. My hands are about a size 6.5 and the small fit perfectly. If you're looking for something that will keep you warm in 35F or below these gloves aren't it.

I love these mitts, flip top is super. i miss the thumb end as i'm not a fisher, so they got a 4 instead of a 5+

Took the advice of others that it ran small, so I thought the large would work. Nope, it was a struggle to get it on and I had to help my boyfriend pull it off. I decided to try it on myself (I'm 5',petite,small hands). I decided to keep it for myself, although a medium would probably have fit better. Since it's a bit loose on me, the flip-top actually covers my thumb, which is nice since others said their thumbs get cold. Thought the extra space in the flip-top could be used to house handwarmers, if I needed it.

Even after reading the reviews I thought, "How bad can it be leaving the tip of your thumb exposed if your core is warm and the mitt is covering the rest of your fingers?" It's more than distracting to have the tip of your thumb hanging out in the cold, even if the rest of your hand is perfectly warm.

well made glove to withstand constant use I walk my dog daily and clean up is easier with this type of glove and yet keeps my hands warm :)
