These have worked like a charm, and while they work well for both, will probably use them more for the downhill stuff. They are a little more bulky than Spring gloves, but are so warm that you will be glad you have them on the cold days up on the hill!

I wouldn't use these for winter sports, though - they don't go high enough up the wrist (but regular gloves shouldn't do that anyhow). And have I said how good looking these gloves are?

I picked up a branch and one of the twig stubs poked right through the glove. NOT DURABLE MATERIAL! I thought my elk-skin gloves have always held up VERY well, so I thought I'd give the sheeps-skin a try.. NEVER AGAIN. They're a great glove if all your looking for is a pair of gloves for the car.
