It fits snuggly on my 7 1/4 head and comes down just enough to keep my ears tucked in and if it was a 1/2 " more coverage I'd give it five stars. The lining is generously thick and warm enough to get the toasty designation. The design work on the outer layer adds a little panache too. A bargain .
