Bought these for my brother who lives on a farm and needs heavy duty gloves -preferably leather- for everything from clearing brush, driving the tractor, working with livestock and toting hay bales. The fit was perfect. Bought a pair for myself too (even tho' they are big on me) for pruning roses/shrubs and tending to berry bushes. Was concerned about the white leather, but at this price, we'll not be concerned if they show soil.

These have flexible, soft deer suede for the hands but it is thinner than expected. The cuffs are thick, stiff cowhide suede - which is a plus in our case. Looking for work gloves to use on rural acreage to clear brush/overgrown vegetation/saplings from fence rows and gullies. The cuffs on these are good, but not sure how the palms/hands are going to hold up. Would recommend because the price is worth trying them out.
