August Silk Lace-Trimmed Camisole - Stretch Cotton (For Women)

I love this top. The cut is high under the arms, which is nice because it's more flattering. It covers bra straps decently. The lace is pretty. By the end of a whole day wearing it, it has stretched out a bit and is slightly lower in the neckline than would be ideal (but i also just returned from living in the middle east for a couple of years, so i'm more sensitive to that!). I have a long torso, and i wish that this shirt was 2 or 3 inches longer in the body. i could get it to stay tucked in better, or it would come to a more comfortable amount of overlap with my trousers. That said, i still am comfortable wearing it and look forward to years with it. [I haven't washed it yet. it's in the laundry now. hopefully it will do fine in a delicates bag or something, because there's no way in heck i'm going to hand wash clothing items unless i'm in a hotel room somewhere!]

The top is extremely comfortable & the lace is so pretty & flattering. Since I tend to dress conservatively, I found the top to be just a bit too low cut. I plan to pair it with something underneath.

Good for layering with a touch of elegance.

I originally ordered larges in these tanks. Usually my DD's require a large in August Silk. The armholes were too big in the large and my bra showed. I was able to acquire two in medium and they are perfect. I'm looking forward to using them to put a nice punch of color in an otherwise dreary suit. It's still 92 in South Florida, so I haven't worn them yet. I think they'll look great with capris. I hope they will not be a problem to wash.

I tend to shop recognizable brand names I am familiar with. I have not washed the camisoles yet but expect them to be of long lasting quality. Except for a few past returns due to sizing differences between american-european styling, I have been very satisfied with the high quality products offered by Sirra Trading.

I have 3 of these from an earlier order & was so happy to see them back on STP that I ordered 4 more! I'm a 14 and the others are "large"and fit great. Well, these are also larges but definitely too small/tight. Unhappily, they will go back and now there are no colors I want left in 16. Poor me. BTW, I have handwashed mine and though its a little extra trouble it is worth it for such beautiful camis. Love to wear them under sheer tunics/shirts. Or peeking out of the top of low-cut blouses. Hope STP can get more of them in 16!

I ordered this cami in every color available and was not disappointed. It is flattering, comfortable and looks great with the solid skirts/pants/jackets in my wardrobe which are black, white and kaki. I throw a colorful scarf around my neck and I am ready for a date or for work. I really like the lace detail because it is pretty but not revealing and the lace straps hide my bra straps making it an acceptable choice for work. The bead accents on the front lace are pretty but I don't know how well they will wear over time. Hand washing and hang drying is necessary. These camis have given my wardrobe a much needed lift at an amazing price.

This tank fits well. I like the 'v' in front & back. To solve the lace flair in front, I just sewed a tack to create a small dart. It flattened out the lace and noone will ever notice.

THIS HAS THE PERFECT FEEL/HAND AND THE LITTLE PEEK OF MATERIAL WITH THE SUBTLE TOUCH OF BLING IS JUST THE PERFECT ACCENT FOR UNDER THAT TOO LOW CLEAVAGE SHOWING BLOUSE... DID I MENTION PERFECT? I LOVE, LOVE IT.
