    I originally bought a medium, which was too small for me. The large is just right. I don't know whether that says something about the sweater, or about my perceptions of my body. :) In any event, it was worth the extra return expense...it's a lovely sweater, and I will wear it often.

    Bought one gray, one black for a trip to Italy in the winter. The neck and whole sweater L (12-14) fit just right--often the neck on turtlenecks are too loose on me, so I was very pleased with that. The body of the sweater (not the ribbed neck) is a little bit thinner than I expected, but they look elegant & casual and this may make them better for layering under other sweaters and jackets, perhaps even under a silk shirt.
