    My 4 lb Chihuahua will have to grow into it but he will have to put on a few pounds for the fit to be correct. A bit too snug for my 10 lbs Chihuahua. Perfect for 6-7 pounders. That should help you size it right for your canine family member. "Lil'Rascal" will look TOO COOL in this coat once he can wear it without peeing on it! (When it fits snugger around his belly) ;-)

    I got this originally for my dal. mix who is very large chested, it didn't fit him very well, although it is very warm. We ended up using it on my roommate's 17 year old blue heeler who was declining and couldn't stay warm. This was wonderful for him, it kept him comfortable in his last months of life. It was easy to put on and take off, we washed it several times with ease, it was perfect.

    trendy coat for 7lb min pin, suitable for cold weather, small pet, harness clip is sturdy,bomber jacket style, excellent for walks around town on cool and colder days, leather did not spot during walk in rain. size 8 is more like size 10, but has liberal velcro adjustments. Sierra TP is the place to shop on line!
