This gem is made in ITALY, that is quality, by a company in existence for many decades!!! Love the feel of the pen, the slenderness, and of course to function of it. The tassile is a unique touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a gift for a special person or to treat yourself to the always wanted indulgence.

Could have done without the tassle, it falls apart.

This is a great everyday writing pen. It is much smaller then i thought it would be --too small for my big hands but my wife has grabbed it and LOVES it. Great pen, great company very stylish.

Great pen. Very well constructed. Smoothest nib I ever used. Fine width, when compared to other pens I have. Only problem is that it leaks some ink near the nib. Not enough to get it on my fingers, but a bit annoying. Maybe a thicker ink will prevent that.

This is a nicely functioning piston-fill fountain pen from Aurora. Internet sleuthing suggests that Aurora produced these pens from old, overstocked parts. The pen fills and writes very well, with a rather stiff, medium nib. The barrel has a grained, satin finish and the cap is fashioned from a roughly brushed stainless steel. The clip is also of the this material and is rather crudely executed. Nevertheless, for the price this appears to be a very serviceable, great writing fountain pen suitable for everyday use. Piston filled pens are getting hard to find - especially in this price range.

The pen is beautiful and the price is amazing for a gold nib and a classic design out of Italy. The nib writes more like a fine with moderate flex and feed. My nib is a bit toothy, but it might just be that I am not used to a fine nib.
