This pet pelt was purchased as a gift for El Gato Gordo, our 18-pound feline. It apparently gives the cat the jim-jams -- he won't come near it. The dog, however, treats it like a security blanket: if he is in the room, some portion of his doggie anatomy is in contact with the pelt. This keeps a ... Read More

Love the softness and the price. The price changes often, but with a coupon and 99 cent shipping, I paid $40.00. Liked it so much I ordered a second one when it went on sale again!

Have purchased 3 of these ... one for my dog and 2 for dog friends.
    All love them

Although my dog has not yet figured out these are not chew toys, they seem to be good quality. The "chocolate" color did not have a picture online when I bought it, but it is a very nice, dark brown... Basically the color you would expect with that name. Maybe that's why my dog likes it so much.

My 2 dogs loved this pelt, but it had a very strong smell of a sheep especially when it' was humid outside. ..I thought the smell will go away with a time

but it did not...Maybe it was a defective bunch... I could not stand the smell, so I throw it away...

  • Question “How thick is this rug? ”
Asked on 7/18/2014 8:42:13 PM by Gina from Illinois
    • Answer It's very thick and plush. You've never felt anything this soft. I use it as a resting place for my bare feet under my desk. You will love this product.

    • Answer about 1 & 1/2 " thick, very comfortable and the fur is beautiful
Answered on 7/19/2014 5:44:03 AM by ladygardener from VA
    • Answer I measured the 'fur' from the hide up and it is quite plush, about 1 3/4 to 2", not including the hide. It's very nice to lean against, if you place it on the back of a chair. If you are thinking about using it on the floor, it will feel great to your bare feet. If you have in mind placing in in front of a door, I did place one on the floor to see if my interior door would 'clear' it - and it would not. Mine was too thick for that. Hope this answers your question.
