Great pet blanket - I have been looking for a wool pet blanket for some time because my daughters cat prefers sleeping on her wool coat over any thing else = now her kitty has her own. I'm very happy to have found it on your site.

Is handy to cover a car seat. I would prefer if it were about 25% larger. It is nicely manageable compared to a large blanket. Handy to travel with for dog "bed." Easy to shake out. Is a little fuzzy and hair sticks to it.

We use them as padding in their crates at night.

Most important, my doggy will lay on it in the back seat of the car. It isn't big enough to cover the entire back seat, so her wanting to lay on it rather than the exposed carseat, is important. I haven't washed it yet and am concerned about shrinkage, but we'll see.

My dogs sleep on wool blankets all of the time. It was time for a new one so I thought I'd give this a try since it's 100% wool. When I took it out of the package I noticed a heavy chemical smell, so I washed it. Twice. With scent removal soap. The smell was still there and before the dog even laid down on it she started to break out in hives. The smell made me a little ill too. I put the blanket outside and the dog started to get better in a little while. With a little research I found out that fabrics coming from some places overseas are treated with insecticides, and I'm assuming that's what was wrong with this product. I would consider it an unsafe product after seeing the bad reaction my dog had to it.
