These are great for nice casual wear. I'll wear around town, to casual restaurants, nice-casual parties, etc. You could dress them up with a jacket for casual day at work--they're definitely that nice. They hit below the knee and look great on. I will machine wash though because drycleaning isn't practical. Many high end things say dryclean when it isn't really necessary.

These are excellent quality classic long white shorts. They are a bit big so it is hard for me to tell about the details of fit. The last couple of things I have bought have been size 6, but I also wear size 8 and have many size 8 things that I still wear though I have lost a bit of weight. These are way too big, though. I may exchange for a 6 or just return. These would be the ideal thing to wear with a cotton jacket, perhaps not for the office, depending on your office, but for events when you want to be comfortable and cool but still present a put-together appearance. They are too pricey for me to wear around the house or for gardening or sports.
