Austin Reed Silk Charmeuse Blouse - Plus Size (For Women)

Great under a suit jacket.

The material is great and it looks high end. It was exactly what I was looking for and the color was perfect for me.

This is a great top, so great I am ordering it in a second color (have the burgundy, ordering the gray). The silk fabric is high-quality and drapes wonderfully. The pleated neckline is really flattering. I wore this for the first time tonight to my husband's birthday dinner and he mentioned how much he liked it two times, which is pretty unusual for him, so I know it's a winner :) One drawback - I put it under a cardigan because the sleeves are quite short (as you can see in the picture) and snug, although not really tight. I am self-conscious about my arms and feel better with them covered more. Otherwise, this is a great top and very versatile - could be worn for a night out and under a jacket to the office.

This blouse is satisfactory for work under a blazer since the neck is just high enough for work, and low enough to be flattering on a night out. Both colors were nice but I liked the beige color best especially with a winter white blazer. It is more of a champaign color than it is grey which for me is better. Also, I tried the regular sizing. I found Misses sizing to be small for the size and if anything the plus size is a bit generous. I went down one size in Women's from what I wear in Misses and it fit fine. I don't know how well it will wear but it does need refreshing sometimes to get rid of wrinkles.

I bought this to wear with a suit that I had purchased. I really love the color (burgundy) and material of the shirt. The only thing that I did not care for was the zipper on the side of the shirt. I would have preferred it on the back of the shirt (or no zipper at all) so that I could tuck it in without the zipper side sticking out. Otherwise, it is a very nice shirt.
