Austin Reed Silk Charmeuse Blouse - Short Sleeve (For Women)

[...] Austin Reed suits and office attire were of the highest quality and there is nothing comparable sold here in the US. I was thrilled to be able to buy this lovely top to wear under a tuxedo suit for my wedding celebration party. It is perfect under the jacket since it is not bulky and it is also very attractive when I take the jacket off. It does not need to be tucked in. It is hard to find tops with sleeves, which many women over 50 prefer. Another plus was it was in my size. So often close-outs are in munchkin sizes only. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Beautiful design,beautiful color but the downside is that it is dry clean only.Recommended with reservations due to "dry clean only".

Fabulous quality material. It is true to size and has no "give" as it is satin. Would recommend ordering 1 size up if like a more roomy fit. I am a size 10 shirt size and purchased a wine colored 10 and a blue size 12 and both work.

I will not know until until the person who is to receive the gift provides this information. She's a 10 Petite; reviews said it ran small through the chest so I went up a size.

This blouse is simple and elegant. Looks great with any jacket or on it's own. The colors are beautiful - I bought the french blue, burgundy and white - just gorgeous. Although this is a simple style, the finish work is exceptional. The cap sleeves are self lined, all the interior seams are enclosed, the hem very neatly finished. The side zipper is a perfect color match and very well concealed in the seam. I know how difficult it is to sew on silk charmeuse and the execution of this garment by Austin Reed is remarkable.

This is a great looking top. I didn't even know about the invisible zip until after I'd taken it off. Even though it says Dry Clean only, I wash it on the delicate cycle and it still looks great. A fantastic top to team with a nice skirt or pants to wear to Christmas parties (in Oz of course!)

the hems were not sewn down. the hidden zipper on the side of the blouse rubbed against my left stomach. uncomfortable. The fit might have been better on a slimmer woman.

I think this brand runs a bit tight through bust...but I am busty...Or would have given 5 stars.

I bought this top in 3 colors, they are beautiful, very rich. Top does run small, I had to go up a size. The silk material makes it quite versatile.
