    This is a Christmas gift for a male friend who needed something to carry books/notebooks in for classes at college (and he is not a young student). I was amazed at the quality of the leather and the overall style of this bag at such an amazing price. Bags that are not 100% leather can be 2-3X the price of this. If he doesn't like it, I think I will keep it for myself!

    Nicely made bag with handle and shoulder strap. The interior is lined and has smaller partitions for pens, keys, etc. Overall I'm very pleased with the bag. It was bought as an alternative to having a backpack for books, computer, etc. for school and it works really well.

    purchased this as a gift for my son. He will not receive it until Christmas so can't really comment on actual use yet. I read that some did have issues with the buckles. I checked the bag upon arrival and it appeared okay.

    I like it for the price. While another bag (SL) might be better, one could buy 5 of these for the same price! This bag is well made, looks great AND smells great! The quality heavy-weight leather really makes this bag a fantastic deal! I'll agree with others that the hardware is the weak point of the bag, but it can all be easily replaced if and when it fails.

    The only drawback to this bag is that it needs to hold more. If I could get all my work in this bag, I would have no reason to go back to the office. It is rugged, durable, and looks like something from a movie set, with higher performance.

    The best thing about this bag is the heavy leather and solid construction. The fittings are not very good quality. The burlap interior is very unattractive and I am concerned that it won't hold up over time or repel stains.
