Australian Bag Outfitters Duffer Duffel Bag

I use this bag for frequent weekend trips. Fits everything I need for a 3-4 day trip, including shoes, toiletry bag, and all the other "stuff" I used to have to grab a separate bag for. It's durable and casual; it's the perfect duffel!

Great for an overnighter or long weekender - room for everthing.

This "purchase" was actually a replacement of the first bag. The bag is beautifully styled, sturdy, spacious and well-made. It has, however, a potentially fatal flaw. The should strap attaches to the bag by clipping it to a "D-ring" which itself is attached with a leather loop. The leather, while stylish, is prone to tearing under moderately heavy loads. The thin D-ring does not help as it acts like a knife. If this flaw were somehow remedied, I'd rate this bag five-stars. As is, can only recommend with reservations

The bag is good. The original price would have been way out of line for a bag of this size and quality. After the supposed discount from Sierra and the additional 20%, the bag was priced just about what it is actually worth.

Great bag. BUT, the strap broke where the d-ring is attached to the body of duffel. This was after minimal use--two or three weekend trips in a car. I would return it for an even exchange but I am concerned that the same problem would occur which could be very inconvenient depending where the breakdown happened. Fortunately I was at home. Because I like the bag, however, I may decide to have my shoe repair person devise a repair. Haven't decided yet what I will do. Because of this problem, which other reviewers experienced, I would be hesitant to recommend this duffel to a friend.
