    I was unable to visualize anything clearly. The eye viewing end is too small especially for a young child. Not what was envisioned for a telescope classification

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    This is a nice "conversation piece". The design is neat and it looks good on a bookshelf or by a window. The tripod is useless unless you happen to have it sitting on a surface near eye level. It works, but the image is not very sharp and the magnification is not very powerful. This may be considered a cheap spy glass or a somewhat pricey decoration.

    We live in a log home that is decorated in a rather eclectic manner. This little telescope fits right in with the decor and looks great on a table in our living room. We have used a number of items from Authentic Models to decorate our home and they are all accurately detailed and add a lot to the feeling of our home.
