Authentic Models

We live in a log home that is decorated in a rather eclectic manner. This little telescope fits right in with the decor and looks great on a table in our living room. We have used a number of items from Authentic Models to decorate our home and they are all accurately detailed and add a lot to the feeling of our home.

Beautiful clock but unfortunately mine did not work. I could hear it ticking but the hands would not move. Heavier than most wall clocks of similar size, but easy to hang.

I wanted to post an update, as we had a little problem with our new clock. I just noticed the other day that the glass is cracked on the bottom, and I'm certain that it wasn't when I unpacked it and hung it. It never fell off the wall. Our only conclusion is that the metal contracted during one of the deep cold spells this winter, as I hung it on an exterior facing wall, and when it shrank, it cracked the glass. The light has to catch it just right to notice it, so we can live with it like this. However, I would advise you not to hang the clock where it might get too cold.

This is a nice "conversation piece". The design is neat and it looks good on a bookshelf or by a window. The tripod is useless unless you happen to have it sitting on a surface near eye level. It works, but the image is not very sharp and the magnification is not very powerful. This may be considered a cheap spy glass or a somewhat pricey decoration.

Brass & porcelain--this is not a cheap clock. Elegant and classic. Looks and runs great.

When they arrived, one of the globes had come off the axis and it was a bit difficult to put it together and tighten everything up. But it's all together now, works well and looks great!

I was glad to replace a clock for the in-laws. Grandpa was genuinely pleased but he teased that he didn't understand Roman Numerals.

This clock is very solid. It was easy to hang and looks great on the wall. The numbers are large enough to easily read from 20+ feet. This would make a great wedding gift!

I was thrilled with how beautiful this bookends were. The picture isn't close up enough to see how intricate the designs on the maps are. One of the maps is of the constellations, and the other is of the world. I bought this for my boyfriend who is very particular about his quality of furniture and decorations, and he loved it. I would definately suggest you get this item.

I was unable to visualize anything clearly. The eye viewing end is too small especially for a young child. Not what was envisioned for a telescope classification
